#this scene is actually one of my faves #bc it’s not really a hameron scene in the romantic sense #but it is pivitol in acklowledging how utterly similar they are #they are both cowards #and after this #house goes to cuddy #and cameron goes to chase #and both of those relationships ultimately fail #so doesn’t it make sense that these two should have come full circle #doesn’t it? #house is so intrigued by her #her motives for liking him #for all of her involvement with the team post s3 #because she is most like him #they constantly have these little moments helping eachother with their respective relationships #selflessly providing advice #sometimes unknowingly and sometimes very intentionally #idk what my point was #but just fucking look at tHEM #THEY ARE SO SIMILAR #THEY HAVE TO MANY THINGS IN COMMON #AND IRONICALLY IT’S THEIR FLAWS THAT THEY SHARE THE MOST #THE’RE BOTH SO DAMAGED #THEY COULD HAVE HEALED EACH OTHER #THEY COULD HAVE HAD IT ALL
-Physically, stop me.
-You could damage…
- You can’t because that would involve touching me and then things would get so sexually charged.
What does a guy have to do to make you hate him?
OHHH G’s!!! that last gif!!
House: Is this hell? An eternity of people trying to convince me to live?
Cameron: Who says I’m here to convince you to live?
House: You were the last one I thought would hate me.
Cameron: I don’t hate you. I love you.
House: And yet you think I deserve to die.
Cameron: But not as a punishment. As… a reward. I think you’ve suffered enough. You’ve given enough. I think you deserve a chance to just… give up.
Of all the people on this show, Cameron was one of the only ones House ever loved – not romantically, but platonically – and time and time again, he failed to live up to that love. It had to be Cameron appearing to him at the end.
